Dimensioning | Adjustment range
The adjustable distance between points A and B is measured from the
center of the old hinge pin (the one already installed on the shutter) which serves
as the mounting base for the new offset system.
💡 Technical note: The average distance of an existing hinge pin from
the wall is 15 to 20mm (standard offset observed in 90% of installations).
For an accurate measurement, use a caliper to measure
the diameter of your hinge pin and its distance from the wall.
To visualize these elements, refer to the schematic diagram above.
Simply put: your existing hinge pin serves as the starting point, and you adjust
the distance according to the thickness of your insulation.
